Q: How much does an 87 Toyota corolla transmission cost to repair?
It's an automatic transmission in a 1987 Toyota corolla. It is definitely a 'hard parts' issue, so I'm looking at a full rebuild, or buying a rebuilt one already. Either way, is there a mechanic who can give me an approximate estimate on how much it will cost to fix this? Please be specific to my car, none of 'well my truck' or 'my van'. I know those trannys tend to cost a bit more than what mine will.
A: Your best bet is to call up some repair shops and ask. Even if you did get an answer here I wouldn't trust it at all, there's a ton of people on here talking about stuff they have no freakin idea about.

after replacing all of my brakes (2 months ago) on my 95 toyota corolla...i have noticed it feels very soft as if it has air. Everytime i brake it feels as if it goes all the way in and does not have so much brake power...what might be the problem? are the brakes positioned wrong? should i need new brake lines installed? or is it normal to feel this after replacing your brakes ( 2 months ago)?
A: Most Brake shops have warranties. I would take it back! its only been 2 months.

I am having a little trouble taking off the front disc rotors on my 1977 Toyota Corolla. Does anyone have a clue?
A: Look at the rotor, there may be 2 flat top screws that you need to take off with a phillips head screwdriver. if not that, then make sure the caliper is all the way off and hit the rotor with a hammer. It will help knock it loose if its on too tight.

A: depends on what it is. a new gauge cluster could be expensive, and a wheel speed sensor could be as well, although a cable would be cheap, and it sounds to me like thats the most probable bet.

I have a 1996 toyota corolla and when i go through puddles, even if it isnt like a hole its just a low spot in the road that water builds up in and there is no bump or bounce its just the water spraying up that makes the car squeal REALLY loud. It hurts peoples ears and is annoying, any ideas as to why it happens?
A: well it can be that the water splash up in the engine and it can be the fan belt that does this.
try tightening the belt also check that the plastic covers is fitted that prevents water going in the engine bay.
